Post 5: My First Job


Hi classmates today I will tell you about my first job, and I like tell you about what kind of job I would like too, when I will get out of this university.

My first job was working with my father; this job was fixing hydraulic machines. I remember that when I worked in this job, in this moment, I had fourteen or five years old. That was a manual job and we should make so strong because we need move the metal pieces and machines of a place to other place.

Today I study sociology, thereby, I like that my next job will be a job of the office that I like or I be comfortable, or better, I really like work in my house. I do not know what could be my next job as professional, but I think that could be something of relax ambient, that I can concentrate and I can be peaceful. Whatever, be on place that be, I want work happy, indoors or outdoors.

If I would like travel a lot in these job? Of course, I say, who don’t like travel? I would like travel on Europa, Africa, maybe Asia. Whatever, I want travel.

As I said, I am studding sociology, but the major I think that could be sociology of education or maybe economy. Maybe with this major I would work in the state or some organisations that want help or changes the social structures. I think in economy and education because I like this subject, and I am counter of the statewide school, I believe that because these reasons I would like work in these subject, I learn about both and I want changes and learn more.

Hi classmates. Today I will tell about my favorite subject in this semester. This subject maybe is not what I expected, but in spite of this it is my favorite class. My favorite subject is classic sociological theory. In this class we learn about classical authors of sociology like Karl Marx, Émile Durkheim and Max Weber. In the class we can listen to the teacher talk about the proposals and ideas from these authors. To me is very interesting to learn of the theory that try explaining diverse things of society. We have seen the theory from the classical authors. For example, Karl Marx, We learned about historical materialism, theory of plus-value and also the critic to capitalism. On the other hand, on Émile Durkheim, we understood about the kind of society, the idea of pathologies and the term of anomia. my favorite movie

To me in this moment is very hard to chose a favorite movie, though I believe that I can say that my favorite movie would be the movie “the number 23” or in Spanish   “el número 23”. The genre of this movie is thriller. The actor is Jim Carrey and the director is Joel Schumacher. The movie is about a man that found a red book when he went to find his wife. The book tells about a detective that is involved in some suicides of people obsessed with the number 23. The main character discovers that the book reports a murder and he will try to solve it. Finally it is revealed that the killer is the main character and that he lost the memory in an endeavor of suicide, forgetting all about the book that he wrote. I like this movie because when I was in the school with some classmates to not pay attention to the teacher, due to the class was boring, we wanted a movie to pass to time. We found a movie of Jim Carrie to laugh but left this because we liked the argument.

favorite piece of technology

Hi classmates. Today I will talk about my favorite piece of technology, this is my cellphone. I got it when I was working with my father and thus I could buy it two years ago with my pay. I use my cellphone to have fun, communicate (calls and chats), take photograph, as an alarm in the morning, listen to music, see movies or series and make works for the university. I take it every day because this artifact is multi-functional and can solve many problems. I like this piece of technology because I can do many things, things that I like so much. Through this artifact I can learn to play the guitar or relax while I watch movies, maybe play video games and also talk with my friends. My life without my cellphone would be boring and a lot more complicated, although maybe I would be more active and do more exercise or read a little more.
